How to Suspend an account via root SSH?

Suspend an account via root SSH

In WHM or cPanel server, there is an option to suspend a particular account/domain for a particular period. This option is very helpful to deactivate an account if we found any malicious activities like spamming, phishing etc from that account. An account can be suspended or unsuspended via command line by using cPanel scripts.

The Back-end scripts are available to do the same in a WHM or cPanel server. We can simply un-suspend and suspend account via command-line using those cPanel scripts. Here we have listed those scripts for suspending and un-suspending cPanel accounts.

SSH Command:

To suspend an account, use/scripts/suspendacct accountname

To unsuspend an account, use/scripts/unsuspendacct accountname
